KVKK Information Notice and Cookie Policy

How Bayazıt Property processes personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act (KVKK), cookies and your rights.

This text has been prepared to explain how we, as Bayazıt Property, process the personal data we collect via the bayazitproperty.com website and our communication channels, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Bayazıt Property (Alanya, Antalya, Turkey) in its capacity as the data controller. You can contact us via the channels listed on the contact page.

What personal data do we process?

  • Personal and contact details: first name, surname, email address, telephone number.
  • Enquiry details: the content of your message, the advert or project you are interested in, the page from which you submitted the form, and the campaign details provided in the link.
  • Transaction security information: technical records retained for a short period to prevent misuse (e.g. IP address).
  • Cookie data: cookies used for visitor statistics and advertising measurement, only if you give your consent.

For what purposes do we process data?

  • To respond to your enquiry, question or request for a virtual tour.
  • To present you with property options that suit your needs and to manage the purchase or rental process.
  • To assess applications from homeowners wishing to sell their property.
  • To fulfil our legal obligations, ensure the security of the website and prevent misuse.
  • If you give your consent, to measure website usage and improve our services.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds of being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the fulfilment of our legal obligations, our legitimate interests (provided this does not infringe upon your fundamental rights and freedoms), and, where necessary, your explicit consent (Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Act).

To whom can it be transferred?

Your personal data may be shared with suppliers from whom we receive services—such as the server hosting the website, email and messaging services—only to the extent required by the service and subject to the necessary security measures; it may also be transferred to authorised public bodies and organisations upon their request, in accordance with the relevant legislation. If you contact us via services such as WhatsApp, which have servers located abroad, your data may also be processed by the provider of that service; it is your choice whether or not to use this channel.

How long do we keep it for?

We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of processing and for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation; once these periods have expired, your data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Cookies

Cookies that are essential for our website to function (e.g. your language and currency preferences, your favourite listings, and the listings you last viewed) do not require consent and are stored solely in your browser. Cookies used for visitor statistics and ad tracking, however, only work if you give your consent via the cookie banner; you can withdraw your consent by clearing your browser’s cookies.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  • To find out whether your personal data has been processed and, if so, to request information regarding this,
  • To find out the purpose of the processing and whether the data is being used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom data has been transferred, whether within the country or abroad,
  • to request that data be corrected if it is incomplete or has been processed incorrectly, or that it be erased or destroyed when the conditions are met, and to request that the persons to whom such data has been disclosed be informed of these actions,
  • To object to a decision made against you as a result of analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems,
  • If you suffer loss as a result of an action that contravenes the law, you may claim compensation for that loss.

Application

You may submit any requests regarding your rights via the channels listed on our contact page. Your request will be processed free of charge as soon as possible and within the timeframe stipulated by law.
